The Feasibility Study identified a number of exhibition spaces in the NIHC based upon Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, including:
Long-term exhibitions that introduce Nunavut, Inuit, and the Arctic based upon Respect and care for the land, animals and the environment; Fostering good spirits by being open, welcoming and inclusive; Serving and providing for family and/or community.
IQ Lab, based upon Development of skills through observation, mentoring, practice, and effort.
Children’s Discovery Gallery based upon Respecting others, relationships and caring for people; Working together for a common cause; and Being innovative and resourceful
Temporary exhibitions, both developed in-house or brought in to the NIHC
The Nattinnak, a unique, changing single exhibit case in the lobby, reminiscent of an iceberg, that would feature the work of a single artist, printmaker or carver, featured in the Inuit Art Quarterly.
